- AÇÕES DE SAÚDE MENTAL NA ATENÇÃO BÁSICA: CONHECIMENTO DE ENFERMEIROS SOBRE A REFORMA PSIQUIÁTRICA Dulcian Medeiros de Azevedo Alanna Tamires dos Santos Medicina Mental Health Psychiatric Nursing Family Health Program Atención Primaria de Salud Objectives : T o identify the knowledge of FHS nurses on the mental health care from the psychiatric reform, and investigate the relationship be tween CAPS and FHS in relation to the matrix activities. Methods : D escriptive study with qualitative approach, developed in the FHS of Parelhas/RN, being interviewed eight nurses. The interview contained 32 closed questions related to knowledge in the fiel d of mental health. Results : The subjects showed a good understanding of the changes in the forms of treatment employed in mental health; gave importance to the role of the family in treatment, beyond the social reinsertion of individuals and the home visi t as link empowering and indispensable to treatment; and were unaware about matrix support. Conclusion : The nurses interviewed know about PR and its importance in mental health care scenario in FHS.
