Methods: This is a descriptive study, conducted at the Rehabilitation Program for Mastectomized Women, at Espirito Santo, Brazil. The sample consisted of 53 women interviewed according to the standards of Visual-Analogue Quality of Life Scale for Head and Neck Cancer Carriers adapted to Breast Cancer Carriers with the consent of the authors. The data received statistical analysis by SPSS version 17.0 software and sociodemographic variables were assessed using Pearson’s correlation coefficient. Results: It was found that younger women without breast reconstruction married and submitted to chemotherapy or hormonal therapy had greater loss of quality of life.
