The region has lost the equivalent of 60% of its GDP. The sustained growth of recent years might disappear. Not all countries are prepared in the same way and a comparison with China and India is very relevant. Many figures are provided to illustrate the current situation and potential impact for the different countries in the region. In addition, the role different governments (categorized as vegetarian and carnivorous) will have in each situation is very relevant for the analysis.
