contents Entrepreneurial Clusters in China and Mexico –implications for Competitiveness Clemente Hernández- Rodríguez Raúl Francisco Montalvo-Corzo Economía y Finanzas china mexico cluster policy Business clusters This research examines the common elements that we can find in the outcomes at a national level resulting from clusters. There are 7 common elements of cluster impact, namely: (1) agglomeration economies; (2) knowledge spillovers; (3) increases in productivity and efficiency; (4) positive impact in the operation; (5) economic impact; (6) sociopolitical impact; and, last but not least, (7) impacts on competitiveness. This paper uses radars to compare the cases of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) and Mexico. From theses radars we can infer insights for decision makers. For instance, we recommend a cluster policy for Mexico. 2012 artículo científico 1988-7116 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=511851332006 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=5118 Journal of Globalization, Competitiveness & Governability / Revista de Globalización, Competitividad y Gobernabilidad / Revista de Globalização, Competitividade e Governabilidade application/pdf Portal Universia S.A.
