Thisspecies was otherwise mentioned from Uruguay without precise material or locality. This record is the southernmost inthe southwestern Atlantic. The specimens from southern Brazil and Uruguay are considered to represent apseudopopulation, as do most of the records outside the northeastern Atlantic.
