- EUROPEAN UNION: AN INSTRUMENT FOR THE PROVISION OF LEGAL CERTAINTY TO FOREIGN INVESTORS Camilo Andrés Rodríguez Yong Derecho The article argues that the European Union (EU) can play an important role in providing legal certainty to foreign investors in the European continent. In particular, three elements of the Union’s structure make this possible: 1) its legal order, 2) its group of institutions, and 3) its Court of Justice. The article explores these elements in detail, analyzing their relevance to the foreign investment climate.
