- The social accountability of induced abortion in police investigations Maíra Lemos Sociología social stigma accountability police inquiry induced abortion Sociology of morality The article reflects on police investigations that led to 14 criminal prosecutions for induced abortion in Rio de Janeiro city between 2005 and 2019.
