He was suffering from nutri- tional problems due to gastro-intestinal distur- bances and vomiting secondary to the pres- sure of the kidneys. He was also a candidate for kidney transplantation, but there was no adequate and enough space in the abdomen for the transplant kidney. Therefore, we performed open unilateral nephrectomy to the bigger kidney.
