contents Climate variability and climate change in Mexico: A review E. Jáuregui Ciencias de la Tierra Mexico Climate change climate variability review A review of research on climate variability, fluctuations and climate change in Mexico is presented. Earlier approaches include different time scales from paleoclimatic to historical and instrumental. The nature and causes of variability in Mexico have been attributed to large-scale southward/northward shifts of the mid-latitude major circulation and more recently to the ENSO cycle. Global greenhouse warming has become a major environmental issue and has spawned a large number of climate-change related impact studies. 1997 artículo científico 0016-7169 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=56836305 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=568 Geofísica Internacional application/pdf Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México Geofísica Internacional (México) Num.3 Vol.36
