The isoline maps were transformed to grid maps to be used by a Geographical InformationSystem, GIS. The main potential sources of aquifer pollution were included in the territorial ordering analysis. The vulnerabilitytendencies and land uses were analyzed. The urban expansion tendencies were revised taking into account the aquifer vulnerabilityzoning.
