- Vibrational study of hybrid organic-inorganic cadmium sulphide nanocomposites V. Lavayen Z. López-Cabaña C. O’Dwyer C.M. Sotomayor Torres E. Benavente G. González Física, Astronomía y Matemáticas Nanocrystals semiconductors optical emission tunable The infrared vibrational characterization of optical emission-tunable organic-inorganic nanocomposites containing cadmium sulphide nanopar- ticles as guest entities in a lamellar host matrix is presented. Nanocomposites were prepared by a simple chemical synthesis that could provide a platform to create functional nanoscale composite structures. The presence of an all-trans conformation of intercalated structurally directing surfactant is confirmed as we elucidate the influence of water molecules on the methylene group vibrations, leading to a unique environment for Cd2+ ions to uptake S2− within the nanocomposite to form emissive CdS nanocrystals within the host. 2010 artículo científico 0035-001X https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=57030352025 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=570 Revista Mexicana de Física application/pdf Sociedad Mexicana de Física A.C.
