Rincón Física, Astronomía y Matemáticas Au melting Nanocluster semiempirical In the present work, the melting behavior of nanometer-sized gold clusters using the Sutton-Chen potential is studied. We calculated the temperature dependence of the potential energy from 50 K to 1100 K for different sizes of clusters (13 to 2869 atoms).
