Miranda Física, Astronomía y Matemáticas Anisotropy ray emission The alignment parameter A20 of the L3-subshell of Ce, Nd, Eu, Dy, and Yb has been calculated by measuring the anisotropic emission of the Ll X-ray line induced by 12C ion impact at 9 MeV bombardment energy. A new Coster-Kronig transition probabilities database is used, as well as more recent theories for ionization cross sections.
