contents Collapse and fragmentation models of cloud cores with magnetic field support Jaime Klapp Leonardo Di G. Sigalotti Física, Astronomía y Matemáticas STARS: FORMATION METHODS: NUMERICAL In this work we present numerical models of the collapse and fragmentationof slowly rotating ( 0:037), thermally supercritical ( 0:36), molecular cloudcores, including the e ects of magnetic support, ambipolar di usion and a tidalinteraction due to a gravitational encounter with another protostar. The magneticforces delay the onset of dynamic collapse and hence of fragmentation by an amountthat depends on the initial central mass-to-ux ratio. The results show that themodels are susceptible to fragment into binary systems and in some cases into tripleand quadruple systems depending on the intensity of the magnetic support and thetidal interaction. 2000 artículo científico 0185-1101 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=57100920 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=571 Revista Mexicana de Astronomía y Astrofísica application/pdf Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México Revista Mexicana de Astronomía y Astrofísica (México) Vol.9
