García Segura Física, Astronomía y Matemáticas PLANE HYDRODYNAMICS ISM: STRUCTURE TARY NEBULAE: GENERAL Multiple shell planetary nebulae (MSPNe) are those which, in addition tothe main bright inner shell, show one or two additional external shells. Thesefaint external shells often have aspherical geometries, indicating an interaction withthe surrounding interstellar medium (ISM). Our aim is to investigate, rst of all,if the current theoretical stellar evolutionary models are able to reproduce thedi erent observed shells and secondly, which ISM conditions are necessary in orderto see the e ect of a moving central star in the PN halo. We have performedhydrodynamical simulations following the evolution of the stellar winds predictedby the theoretical stellar evolutionary models. The study has been done in twoparts: rst, we approach the problem of the formation of multiple shells in the caseof a star at rest, then we investigate the interaction of the di erent shells with theISM due to a moving central star. 2000 artículo científico 0185-1101 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=57100952 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=571 Revista Mexicana de Astronomía y Astrofísica application/pdf Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México Revista Mexicana de Astronomía y Astrofísica (México) Vol.9
