- Ionized photoevaporation flows in h II regions and PNe W. J. Henney Física, Astronomía y Matemáticas H II REGIONS PLANETARY NEBULAE From proplyds to champagne ows, spanning 4 orders of magnitude in sizeand density, photoevaporation ows are ubiquitous in H II regions. Such ows arealso found in planetary nebulae, in the form of cometary knots, although in this casethe ows are often \advection{dominated", unlike the \recombination{dominated"ows that predominate in H II regions. The general properties of such ows arediscussed, with particular reference to recent results on the Orion proplyds and theHelix knots. 2001 artículo científico 0185-1101 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=57101017 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=571 Revista Mexicana de Astronomía y Astrofísica application/pdf Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México Revista Mexicana de Astronomía y Astrofísica (México) Vol.10
