| contents | Spectroscopy of stellar Jets, outflows, and Young stellar objects with the infrared space observatory A. Noriega Crespo Física, Astronomía y Matemáticas STARS: PRE INFRARED: ISM MAIN SEQUENCE LINE: PROFILES STARS: MASS LOSS The Infrared Space Observatory (ISO) was an extremely successful European space mission that gave us anunparallelediew of the Universe in the infrared, and provided us with hundreds of observations of star formingregions and bipolar outows. Three of the instrument teams, in charge of the infrared camera (CAM) and thetwo spectrometers at short and long wavelengths (SWS and LWS respectively), used a signicant fraction oftheir guarantee time to study YSOs and outows spectroscopically. In this contribution, I will briey reviewsome of their main ndings, particularly the detection of water, H2 rotational emission lines and the presenceof other complex molecules. I will present new spectroscopic results on HH 1{2, HH 7{11 and Cep E, andtheir sources. And nally, I will discuss some of the general trends derived from these observations and theirrelevance in understanding the emission from these objects using J- and C-shock models. 2002 artículo científico 0185-1101 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=57101314 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=571 Revista Mexicana de Astronomía y Astrofísica application/pdf Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México Revista Mexicana de Astronomía y Astrofísica (México) Vol.13 |
