contents The Intrinsic High Metallicity of cSNRs A. Rodríguez G. Tenorio S. Silich Física, Astronomía y Matemáticas Quasars : General Supernova Remnants Here we present semi-analytical solutions of the hydrodynamics of compact supernova remnants (cSNRs) and their chemical evolution. Two models of 15 M๏ and 25 M๏ supernova explosions evolving in a high density medium (n0~107 cm-3) are throughly discussed. We demonstrate, that after a few years of evolution, diffusion leads to an homogeneous distribution of the SN products inside the cold, thin shell formed after cooling of the swept-up matter sets in. We find metallicity values within a range de 5.5 < ZO/Z๏< 6.0 for MSN = 15 M๏, and 1.0 < ZO/Z๏< 1.5 for MSN = 15 M๏, and speculate wheather these metallicities could be related to the observed QSOs super solar elemental abundances (Ferland et al. 1996; Hamann & Ferland 1999). 2003 artículo científico 0185-1101 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=57101827 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=571 Revista Mexicana de Astronomía y Astrofísica application/pdf Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México Revista Mexicana de Astronomía y Astrofísica (México) Vol.18
