contents Pn-carbon yields and the chemical evolution of the galaxy Leticia Carigi Física, Astronomía y Matemáticas GALAXY: EVOLUTION GALAXY: ABUNDANCES PLANETARY NEBULAE: GENERAL Two sets of observational carbon stellar yields for low-and-intermediate mass stars are computed from planetarynebulae abundances derived from C II 4267 and C III 1906 + 1909 lines, respectively. By comparing C/Ovalues observed in stars of the solar vicinity and Galactic H II regions with those predicted by chemical evolutionmodels for the Galaxy, which assume these observational yields, I conclude that the C abundances derived frompermitted lines are better than those derived from forbidden lines. 2002 artículo científico 0185-1101 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=57112086 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=571 Revista Mexicana de Astronomía y Astrofísica application/pdf Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México Revista Mexicana de Astronomía y Astrofísica (México) Vol.12
