contents The Pulsar Luminosity Function O. H. Guseinov E. Yazgan S. O. Tagieva Física, Astronomía y Matemáticas AXP SGR SNR DRQNS PULSAR We construct and examine the pulsar luminosity function using the new listwhich includes data for 1328 radio pulsars. In this work, the luminosity function for1400 MHz is constructed for the first time. We also present an improved luminosityfunction for 400 MHz. The luminosity functions at 400 and 1400 MHz are compared. Also, the luminosity functions excluding the binary millisecond pulsars and thepulsars with low magnetic fields are constructed. It is found that the new luminosityfunction is considerably flatter in the low luminosity part for 400 MHz. 1400 HMzluminosity values of radio pulsars together with upper limits of 1400 MHz luminosityfor anomalous X-ray pulsars and dim radio quiet neutron stars are presented as afunction of both characteristic age and magnetic field. The implications of thepulsar luminosity function for these new kinds of neutron star are discussed. 2003 artículo científico 0185-1101 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=57139212 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=571 Revista Mexicana de Astronomía y Astrofísica application/pdf Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México Revista Mexicana de Astronomía y Astrofísica (México) Num.2 Vol.39
