Tovmassian H. Tiersch S. G. Navarro Física, Astronomía y Matemáticas 38 43 282) GALAXIES: PHOTOMETRY GALAXIES: INTERACTIONS Shakhbazian compact galaxy groups are the most dense configurations known.A few years ago we commenced a detailed spectral and photometric study of thesegroups. In this paper we present the investigation results of groups ShCG 31,ShCG 38, ShCG 43, and ShCG 282. The redshifts of member galaxies, the resultsof the BVR photometry, the surface-brightness profiles, the curves of isophotaltwisting, the estimated masses, luminosities, and the mass-to-luminosity ratios ofgroups, and also some dynamical parameters, as the radial velocity dispersion andthe crossing time are presented. The studied ShCGs consist mostly of elliptical andlenticular galaxies. It is shown that some galaxies in groups are in the process ofinteraction. 2003 artículo científico 0185-1101 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=57139213 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=571 Revista Mexicana de Astronomía y Astrofísica application/pdf Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México Revista Mexicana de Astronomía y Astrofísica (México) Num.2 Vol.39
