contents LUIS MAYOR ( PITANGUS SULPHURATUS ) EN EL ALTIPLANO MEXICANO J.E. Ramírez-Albores Leonardo CHAPA-VARGAS María del Carmen JASSO-GORDOA Biología The Great kiskadee ( Pitangus sulphuratus ) has a continuous distribution in both slopes of Mexico, mainly in tropical zones. As a result of monthly samplings from December 2006 to August 2013, we report the occurrence of this species in eastern Aguascalientes and the Highland Plateau region of San Luis Potosi. Based on these records, we suggest that this species can be considered as a resident for this region, thus suggesting that its geographic distribution could be extended to the central plateau of Mexico. 2016 artículo científico 0065-1737 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=57547017008 https://www.redalyc.org/journal/575/57547017008/ https://www.redalyc.org/journal/575/57547017008/html/ https://www.redalyc.org/journal/575/57547017008/57547017008.epub https://www.redalyc.org/journal/575/57547017008/movil es http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=575 Acta Zoológica Mexicana (nueva serie) application/pdf Instituto de Ecología, A.C.
