We document the finding of one individu- al of this species in a urban area in the southern part of the municipality of Santiago de Cali, Colombia. Molossops neglectus was record previ- ously in Puerto Leguizamo (Department of Putumayo) and it had not been collected since more than 40 years ago in the country.
