  • Una aproximación al fenómeno esquizo-obsesivo Rogelio Apiquian Cristina Lóyzaga Humberto Nicolini Ana Fresán Medicina schizo insight obsessive Schizophrenia obsessive phenomena Although there is a controversy about the definition ofschizo-obssesive phenomena, we propound as seen therevision of many medical and historical reports and theevaluation of patients who presents this phenomena, thenext definition: “clinical phenomena characterized by temporalcoexistence of both obsessive-compulsive andpsychotic symptoms in a patient”.This phenomena had been described in schizophrenia and OCD.The prevalence of this phenomena in both disorders is between10 and 15%.
