contents “Nuevas historias”: el mal de archivo Diana Napoli Historia Freud Derrida archive repression suppression In this article, the author wants to show how Archive Fever: A Freudian Im- pression of Jacques Derrida offers a philosophical elaboration of the mean- ing of the “age of memory” and what François Hartog called “presentism”. Derrida’s essay examines the inseparable relationship between the desire for archiving and his consubstantial “fever” (radical desire for destruction), be- tween the impression (conservation) on one side and the repression and sup- pression on the other. Historiography can fulfill its task only taking on itself the wide range of such operations. Memory and the watchful warning to a past that must always be present, risk to be just an utopian view of an archive without its “fever”, that is to say an eternal present without history. 2016 artículo científico 1405-0927 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=58949544005 https://www.redalyc.org/journal/589/58949544005/ https://www.redalyc.org/journal/589/58949544005/html/ https://www.redalyc.org/journal/589/58949544005/58949544005.epub https://www.redalyc.org/journal/589/58949544005/movil es http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=589 Historia y Grafía application/pdf Universidad Iberoamericana, Ciudad de México Historia y Grafía (México) Num.46
