The frog, identified as Leptodactylus latrans (Steffen, 1815), was collected in Atlantic forest bioma, southern Brazil. The frog had extensive muscle damage and orifices in the tegument caused by presence of 21 larvae, identified as Sarcophagidae. Ecological interactions between dipterans and anuran are poorly known.
