The present report, aims to related, describe and discuss the occurrence, diagnosis, treatment and evolution of a acute gangrenous mastitis case in an adult bitch during the postpartum period, the importance of a correct diagnosis, selection of antimicrobial therapy based In the antibiogram tests and the topical alterative treatment with sugar and magnesium hydroxide association.
