| contents | Checking of Optical-Electronic Equipment Used in Seismic Exploration Projects Antony Prince Melvin Hoyer Ingeniería EDM GNSS Checking Total Station Seismic Exploration During the topography in a seismic exploration project, conventional surveying instrument and GNSS receivers are used complementarily. The proper functioning of the equipments must be guaranteed throughout the project and like quality control, is needed a constant verification to detect, model and correct, if possible, instrumental drift, thus ensuring the quality the stakeout of the seismic lines. This paper proposes a procedure that verifies the associated basic components of a modern total station: EDM (Electronic Distance Measurement) and the electronic theodolite. This method is based on defining and certifying calibration base line using high-precision GNSS measurements and then, on that line, verifies measurements of distances and angles that allow monitoring the correct performance of conventional equipment considered the technical specifications of the manufacturer and established tolerances. The methodology is supported by theoretical and evaluated through specific tests that indicate the convenience and advantages of its application. 2017 artículo científico 0254-0770 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=605767271007 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=6057 Revista Técnica de la Facultad de Ingeniería, Universidad del Zulia application/pdf Universidad del Zulia Revista Técnica de la Facultad de Ingeniería, Universidad del Zulia (República Bolivariana de Venezuela) Num.2 Vol.40 |
