contents Recurrent neural identification and sliding mode adaptive control of an aerobic fermentation plant Luis Alberto Hernández P Ieroham S. Baruch Josefina Barrera Cortés Ingeniería Discrete Time Systems Biotechnology Identification Integral Action The paper proposed a new adaptive control system containinga Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) identifier, a SlidingMode (SM) controller, and an integral term. The SM controlis derived defining the sliding surface with respect to theoutput tracking error. The state and parameter information toresolve the SM control is obtained from a RNN identifier, which permits the SM control to maintain the sliding regimewhen the plant parameters changed. The simulation resultsobtained with a continuous stirred tank reactor plant modelconfirmed the good quality of the control. 2007 artículo científico 1665-0654 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=61411202 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=614 Científica application/pdf Instituto Politécnico Nacional Científica (México) Num.2 Vol.11
