Urriolagoitia Calderón Ingeniería phalange kinematics index finger index of angular mobility tip grasp and cylindrical grasp In this work, The Kinematics Analysis of Human Hand IndexFinger is presented, The Distal, Medial and Proximal Phalanges(PD, PM, PP) movement is examined, during objects manipulation.This analysis is focused in two types of grasp: Cylindrical Graspand Tip Grasp, this aim to obtain angular position, velocity andacceleration. In order to obtain the relative velocity between eachone of the phalanges and a function that describes the indexfinger behavior during Cylindrical and Tip Grasp.The movement of the Index Finger characterization is carriedout by position sensors that are placed directly oninterphalangical joints and kinematics chain that covers thefinger.
