  • Occurrence of the rough eagle ray Aetomylaeus asperrimus (Chondrichthyes: Myliobatidae) along the north Pacific coast of Costa Rica Elpis J. We reported the first seven confirmed records of the rough eagle ray (Aetomylaeus asperrimus) along the north Pacific coast of Costa Rica. These findings suggest that encounters with this species are rare, possibly associated with oceanographic patterns. More information is needed to make accurate assumptions on the species’ abundance, ecology, and conservation needs. 2022 artículo científico 1659-455X https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=633774498005 https://www.redalyc.org/journal/6337/633774498005/ https://www.redalyc.org/journal/6337/633774498005/html/ https://www.redalyc.org/journal/6337/633774498005/633774498005.epub https://www.redalyc.org/journal/6337/633774498005/movil 10.15359/revmar.14/1.5 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=6337 Revista Ciencias Marinas y Costeras application/pdf Universidad Nacional de Costa Rica Revista Ciencias Marinas y Costeras (Costa Rica) Num.1 Vol.14
