contents A New Manuscript of Joachim Meyer (1561) Olivier Dupuis Historia manuscript fight book rediscovery Joachim Meyer The manuscript of Joachim Meyer, dated to 1561 and kept in the Bavarian National Museum in Munich, was ignored by specialised bibliographical works on fencing and was absent in the secondary literature about fight books. Its re-discovery sheds a new light on the story of the composition of the treatise printed by this same author in 1570. This research note briefly presents the manuscript and the perspectives it opens up, pending a larger scientific investigation. It contains a description of the manuscript and its contents, as well as new findings regarding biographical information about the author. 2021 artículo científico 2064-0404 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=663972058005 https://www.redalyc.org/journal/6639/663972058005/ https://www.redalyc.org/journal/6639/663972058005/html/ https://www.redalyc.org/journal/6639/663972058005/663972058005.epub https://www.redalyc.org/journal/6639/663972058005/movil en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=6639 Acta Periodica Duellatorum application/pdf Universität Bern Acta Periodica Duellatorum (Suiza) Num.1 Vol.9
