- Die Vermittlung interkultureller Kompetenz in der Schule. Ein ethnologischer Ansatz Ursula Berteis Sabine Eylert Antropología Germany is de facto a multicultural society. To enable all members of society to live together successfully, it is deemed necessary to teach intercultural competence. This statement is also increasingly being echoed by authorities and policy makers. To do justice to the significance of anthropology in the teaching of intercultural competence, the association Ethnologie in Schule und Erwachsenenbildung (Anthropology in School and Adult Education, Ese e.V.) was founded in Münster in 1992. The article describes the work and experience of ESE in teaching anthropology at schools and explains the «thirdculture perspective» that it applies in its theoretical approach and as its basic tool. The authors portray Ese and its pilot project, financed by the VolkswagenFoundation, as a new path in teaching intercultural competence and as a successful example of cooperation between anthropology and education. They furthermore call for a stronger partnership between academic anthropology and education, including teachers' training. 2005 artículo científico 2813-5237 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=664773354012 de http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=6647 Swiss Journal of Sociocultural Anthropology application/pdf Universität Bern Swiss Journal of Sociocultural Anthropology (Suiza) Vol.10
