| contents | Metodologias ativas no ensino de química: o olhar dos professores sobre os desafios antes, durante e após o ensino remoto João Vitor Santana dos Santos Ana Nery Furlan Mendes Educación Pandemic Chemistry Teaching Active Methodologies This paper is a part of a qualitative research through semi-structured interviews whose purpose was analyzing the view of chemistry teachers from state public schools in the municipalities of Nova Venécia and São Mateus, in Espírito Santo, regarding the application of active methodologies in their classes. The context of the survey covers the periods before, during and after the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as its consequences for society. We interviewed 16 teachers who work in 10 of the 13 high schools in the region, obtaining data that cover several realities. These data were treated using the content analysis method proposed by Bardin (1977). The results indicated that, although the active methodologies were already known, their adoption was intensified during the pandemic period.
