  • “DISHES AND TOOLS.” MEANINGS OF FEMALE AND MALE AGRICULTURAL WORK IN DOMESTIC GROUPS IN THE SIERRA DE ZONGOLICA Josefina Vivar Arenas Multidisciplinarias (Ciencias Sociales) gender Agriculture nahua culture sexual division of labor Areflection was made on the various ways in which men and women construct the meanings of female and male work from the productive and labor changes in Mexcala (municipality of Soledad Atzompa, Veracruz). Starting in the seventies, this locality has undergone a process of reorganization of work that meant the displacement of Agriculture and the production of root-made items (brooms and brushes) in favor of logging for artisanal purposes.
