  • La educación de personas adultas en la sociedad de la información Carmen Elboj Ramón Flecha Educación CREA critical pedagogy Information society social inequalities This article introduces an analysis ofthe challenges adult education faces in thecontext ofthe Information society from the critical pedagogy and the communicativeresearch approaches developed by CREA (Centre for Social and EducationalResearch). In the first parí, these approaches are placed within thecurrent social, labour and educational context and in relation to the contributionsofdifferent authors from the social sciencies. The second parí, introducesresearch and concrete experiencies in order to clarify the evolution ofthe field ofadult education. Furíhermore, it highlights the importance offacilitating accessto new technologies for all the people, as a mechanism to avoid new social inequalitiesand to overeóme those that already exist. From the reference of twoprojects, Distance and Omnia, we compile those practices and educational methodologiesthat foster and democratise the new technologies extensión and educationthrough them, for all.
