  • A secure protocol for a payment system based on a kiosk centric case mobile scenario Jesús A. Téllez José M. Sierra Antonio Izquierdo Mildrey Carbonell Ingeniería security Mobile payment system electronic commerce protocol The Full connectivity scenario has been widely used in most of the mobile payment systems proposed up untilnow because it allows to protocol is designers to simplify the design and development of payment protocols withoutlosing security guarantees. However, the aforementioned scenario does not consider those situations in which thecustomer cannot communicate with the issuer due to absence of Internet access in his/her infrastructure. In order toovercome this restriction, in this paper we present a secure protocol for a mobile payment system based on a KioskCentric Case mobile Scenario that employs symmetric-key operations which require low computational power and canbe processed much faster than asymmetric ones. Our protocol protects the real identity of the clients during thepurchase and illustrates how a portable device equipped with a short range link (such Bluetooth, Infrared, etc.) and lowcomputational power should be enough to buy goods in a secure way. 2006 artículo científico 1316-6832 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=70713204 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=707 Revista INGENIERÍA UC application/pdf Universidad de Carabobo Revista INGENIERÍA UC (República Bolivariana de Venezuela) Num.2 Vol.13
