contents Mechanical behavior in welding carbon steels at different levels of strain and carbon content. X. Medina G. Gonzalez S. Cabello Ingeniería strain drawing carbon steels flash welding A study concerning to mechanical behavior in welding carbon steels at different levels of strain and carbon content has been carried out. The investigation was conducted employing carbon steel samples of SAE 1006, SAE 1023 and SAE 1075 with three different strain levels. Welding parameters studied were current intensity, pressure and post heated time. Mechanical behavior was evaluated using tension test, and finally, a correlation with microstructure was established. It has been determined that an increment in level of strain or an increment in carbon content, produce a major sensibility of load coefficient. Additionally, the load coefficient is strongly influenced by post heated time in flash welding process. 2015 artículo científico 1316-6832 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=70735858009 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=707 Revista INGENIERÍA UC application/pdf Universidad de Carabobo Revista INGENIERÍA UC (República Bolivariana de Venezuela) Num.1 Vol.22
