The need to study natural reservoirs in the rainy and drought period has been observed in Venezuela, so the goal of this study is to evaluate the parameters related to chemical properties and organoleptic quality of surface water bodies that converge to reservoirs destined for consumption In both periods; specifically El Pa ́ ıto river, a source of water that flows into the Pao Cachinche reservoir. With a sample of both periods, in several representative points of the route of El Pa ́ ıto river, were determined physical-chemical and organol ́ epticos primordials parameters for the classification of the quality of the bodies of water.
