  • Pinto mi Raya (I Draw My Line): Feminist Archival Practices in Contemporary Mexican Art Alberto McKelligan Hernández Arte Mónica Mayer Víctor Lerma feminist art Pinto mi Raya Mexican feminism The collaborative project initiated by Mónica Mayer and Víctor Lerma in 1989, Pinto mi Raya (I Draw My Line), represents an example of feminist art in contemporary Mexico. As part of this project, the two artists established the Archivo Pinto mi Raya (pmr archive), an extensive array of documentary records which includes materials produced by women artists, feminist art collectives, and feminist activists in Mexico. Through this collection, Mayer and Lerma adapted the archival practices developed at the Feminist Studio Workshop in the 1970s to their local artistic and activist context. By positioning the pmr archive within a history of feminist art, this study reveals how Mayer and Lerma have contributed to transnational feminist efforts. 2016 artículo científico 2007-9648 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=722077916004 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=7220 Nierika application/pdf Universidad Iberoamericana, Ciudad de México Nierika (México) Num.10
