Pérez Lamela Química HPLC epoxy resins food packaging bisphenol A diglycidyl ether Two alternative RP-HPLC methods with fluorescence detection have been applied to quantify bisphenoL A diglycidyLether (BADGE: CAS No. 1675-54-3) in three different types of epoxy resins formulations, based on this monomer, used as a coatingfor food-contact packaging materials. Chloroform was chosen as a swelling solvent to extract BADGE from the finished productemploying two different processes: one by refluxing for 4 hours, and the other at 50ºC for two days. Both Isocratic and Gradientchromatographic methods were applied to determine this monomer at very low levels, the detection limit is 1.5 µg/L. The calibrationlines had correlation coefficients no smaller than 0.998. Standard deviations obtained in the precision study were less than 9 %. 2000 artículo científico 1135-8122 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=72430201 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=724 Ciencia y Tecnología Alimentaria application/pdf Sociedad Mexicana de Nutrición y Tecnología de Alimentos Ciencia y Tecnología Alimentaria (México) Num.1 Vol. 3
