CLARICE LISPECTOR’S RADICALITY TRANSLATED INTO THE ENGLISH-SPEAKING LITERARY SYSTEM Luana Ferreira de Freitas Lengua y Literatura english translation Clarice lispector speaking literary system This article aims to investigate whether Clarice’s radical use of language was somehow achieved in translations and especially in the retranslations of her work into English, or whether this radicality itself made the Claricean legacy an obstacle to its absorption in the English-speaking literary system.
