Theaim of this work is to analyze the religious festivitieswhere immigrants (national and international), natives,religious cargo systems, among others, participate as afield of power in which there is political, social, andeconomical conflict among the diverse social agents.Immigrants and other social actors have fights or strugglesevery holy day to transform their structure, to dominatethe field, to get profits (symbolic, political andsocial capital) and to negotiate their local membershipwithin their original community. In order to explain it,this work utilizes the transnational migration theory, thecurrent political anthropological approach as well asthe theory of practice of Pierre Bourdieu.
