I focus on the activists in the highland city San Carlos de Bariloche and members of the community Mariano Epulef, who are in the process of recovering their territory. Based on the ethnography, this article seeks for the age differentiation, specialization and the aboriginal sense of rural and urban spaces/places, highlighting the agency¿s articulations that defy hegemonic meanings.
