- PROCESO EDUCATIVO E INVESTIGACIÓN PEDAGÓGICA EN LA ERA DEL POSITIVISMO (1860-1935) Carmen Yaquelina Reyes Leal Educación positivismo transference educational research educational conception This article recollects the results of a research, whose fundamental purpose is rebuild the educative process and educational research in the positivism period between 1860 and 1935. The comprehension of this process is only possible with a socialhistoricalanalyze in the frame of a documental research. The period studied begins in the middle of nineteen century, when penetrated in Venezuela the first positivistic ideas. The bases of analyze are the theoretical principles of the socialhistorical method that allow to determine the links permitting the transference of former positivistic ideas. In this period of time, in Venezuela took place different social, political and economical events entailed to educative development and educational research. The research begins with a review of positivistic principles, actors, educative research tendencies and ideological context that permitted to assume the scientific model for educational research. It have been described the historic and legal context for the educative reformations and the research tendencies in the scientific institutions.
