However, reflections about masculinities and hegemonic masculinity seem to leave the trouble between men and feminism unsolved. Therefore, both academia and social movements demand tools to develop a critical view on this issue. This article deals with these questions based on two points of departure: in one hand, a series of academic and activist presentations in feminist and LGBT environments; in the other hand, an inquiry, conducted between 2012 and 2013 on the discourses around masculinities emerged from anti-sexist men's groups that appeared in Basque Country in the previous years.
