contents Shapiro effect in inductive quantum circuits with charge discreteness Kristopher Chandía Valenzuela Juan César Flores Araya Edmundo Lazo Núñez Ingeniería Shapiro effect Mesoscopic circuits charge discreteness quantum circuits theory As it is known, quantum inductive circuits with charge discreteness show Bloch-like oscillations in electrical currentunder a dc external voltage. In this paper, the effect of a superimposed ac voltage in the circuit is considered. The Shapiroeffect is found to be related to the existence of resonance. Surprisingly, in the limit of low frequency (no resonance), theelectrical averaged current exists and has always the same sign. Eventually this allows for an experimental method tomeasure discrete charge effect in quantum mesoscopic circuits. 2006 artículo científico 0718-3291 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=77214203 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=772 Ingeniare.
