| contents | Concepciones de justicia en niños y niñas que habitan contextos urbanos violentos Sara Victoria Alvarado Héctor Fabio Ospina María Teresa Luna Multidisciplinarias (Ciencias Sociales) justice violence peace education Political socialization This paper, a result of the qualitative-hermeneutic research project, Political conceptions and attitude change with respect to equity in children from high-risksectors in the coffee-producing region of Colombia, discusses three categories of conceptions on justice in 8-10-year-old children living in violent contexts: justice asequity (social-cultural perspective), as compliance with norms and sanctions (moraljuridicalperspective), and as exercise of democracy (political perspective). These categories come out of the analysis of 360 answers to the questions What is justice foryou? and Could you give examples of situations or facts that you think have been just or unjust in your family, your school, your neighborhood or our Country? The theoreticalframework of this study starts from an interdisciplinary understanding of political socialization as mediator in the construction of political subjectivity, specifically in theconstruction of political attitudes and conceptions, defined as a process through which children become involved in the social contract, adopting or renegotiating norms forliving together in society, conceptions, attitudes and behaviors considered as legitimate.The discussion of results emphasizes the active role of subjects, individual differences andpotential for change in societies through intentional processes initiated by their socialactors; it underscores the crucial role of social-historical circumstances and of theparticular form of appropriation that children adopt in the construction of their attitudes, values and political behaviors, and analyzes specific ways in which childrens politicalsubjectivity is configured 2005 artículo científico 1692-715X https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=77330207 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=773 Revista Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales, Niñez y Juventud application/pdf Fundación Centro Internacional de Educación y Desarrollo Humano Revista Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales, Niñez y Juventud (Colombia) Num.2 Vol.3 |
