- Implementation of a Holistic Corporate Social Responsibility Method with a Regional Scope Diana Niño-Muñoz Javier Galán-Barrera Pablo Álamo Administración y Contabilidad peacebuilding sustainability CSR methodology regional method human development This research paper applies a holistic solution to successfully cope with Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) needs in a traditional university in Colombia. The suggested methodology follows a humanistic approach and strategically identifies and prioritizes available opportunities for this university within a territory, considering it is present in several regions. The most important conclusion of this work is that the proposed methodology presents an efficient way to design a CSR strategy for a private higher education institution; although we assume it can be easily replicated in other organizations. In consequence, this proposal contributes to the achievement of human development objectives in a specific geographical area.
