Pires Antropología Comparative analysis Portuguese and Spanish ethnography Quintos Fiestas This article seeks to develop a comparative perspective on the «fiesta de los quintos» intwo Portuguese and Spanish towns («quintos» were the young men who were legally obligedto serve the Army for several months).
